Patrick Vuong is an optioned screenwriter who’s currently on assignment adapting the viral video 3 Minutes (which stars Glee‘s Harry Shum Jr.) into a feature film with director Ross Ching and producer Don Le.
Also, he has several irons in the fire: he’s in post-production on a comedic short movie he wrote and directed, in negotiations to co-write a martial arts Web series, and outlining a supernatural thriller screenplay, among other projects.
His scripts follow a tried-and-true structure:
+ Simple but thought-provoking premise
+ Flawed-but-driven characters
+ Authentic dialogue
+ Breathtaking action and/or gut-busting comedy

This effective formula has earned him various critical acclaim and attention in the industry, including placement as a first-round finalist in the Open Door Contest (sponsored by Script Magazine) for his action-thriller Shadowless.
He’s also served as a script consultant for production companies and screenwriters, including Figaro Pictures and Arramis Films.
