In addition to screenwriting, Patrick Vuong is a professional journalist. Various international and local publications have been paying for his assembled words since he was 18.
Much like his talents in moviemaking and martial arts, Patrick has developed a versatile journalism style. He’s able to write features, Q&A’s, breaking news stories or investigative pieces — all on intense deadlines.
Patrick currently serves as the film critic and contributing entertainment editor for Black Belt magazine, the world’s leading and longest-running authority on martial arts. He pens the magazine’s Screen Shots column, a monthly review of movies, DVDs, video games and other media, and he has interviewed everyone from Jet Li to Benny “The Jet” Urquidez.
Plus, Patrick serves as the managing editor of both 4 Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine and Off-Road magazine.
