Trailers for Prometheus have been released … and they are intriguing to say the least.

But would you expect anything less from a Ridley Scott movie? Considering this may or may not be a prequel to Alien, Scott’s sci-fi/thriller classic, Prometheus is eagerly anticipated. It most certainly got this fanboy’s pulse pumping. And the fact that it’s written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof also bodes well for it.

I can say that I’m quite excited about this project, as the original short movie became viral, earning more than 1 million hits and made the director quite a hot commodity with studios and producers. This high-concept video was quite action-packed, so I’m both hyped and intimidated about using it as the backbone of an equally thrilling feature film.
